On the first day (April 29), the meeting will start at 9:00 (breakfast will be provided at 8:30), lunch will be provided at Noon, and the meeting will end by 5:00.
On the second day (April 30), the meeting will start at 8:30 (breakfast will be provided at 8:00), lunch will be provided at Noon, and the meeting will end by 2:00
The meeting will be the full working group. Most of the individual workgroup activity is taking place in conference calls. The face-to-face meeting will be to discuss the change proposals in progress now. They'll be published well in advance of the meeting.
Anyone with an interest in the RETS standard is welcome to attend, but will be responsible for their own expenses. The format approved by the NAR Board of Directors allows anyone present to vote, and requires a 80% vote to approve changes. An agenda will be posted on the RETS website prior to the meeting.
The meeting will be a working session and is not intended to be just informational in nature. Attendees should be familiar with the current status of RETS, and should be prepared to assist in discussing and approving changes for future versions.
More information will be available on the RETS website prior to the meeting.
The RETS working group will follow-up on the issues from the February meeting and discuss the new change proposals.
The Marketing Subgroup will also hold a meeting on-site at 1:00 on the 29th.
Check the RETS workgroups for links to the individual workgroup papers.
We look forward to your participation in this important process, which will help maintain effective Real State Transaction Standards. Feel free to pass this information on to anyone within your organization that may have an interest in RETS. |
