The Developer’s Workshop will provide RETS developers an opportunity to learn advanced techniques and skills to assist in developing their RETS solutions.
The sessions will run sequentially and may extend into the afternoon, based on additional sessions being added.

An introduction to RETS and tips to avoid some of the common pit-falls.
Metadata aware applications
This session will cover the concepts around metadata aware clients and why you should consider building metadata-aware applications
What developers need to know about RETS 2
RETS 2 is a web-services based proposal for future RETS: what is it and why should you care
Transforming DTD and Schema – tools and tips
RETS 2 and web services depend heavily on Schema. Tools and tips will be discussed to help you.
Working with Open Source Clients
Mark Scheel, formerly with Metrolist and multiple RETS Exhibition Best of Show winner will talk about his experiences working with Open Source Clients.
Debugging RETS Sessions
Dave Dribbin of CRT will share his expertise in using Ethereal to debug the RETS protocol.
Plugfest for Newbies
Steps to allow you take advantage of the Plugfest.
