RESO/RETS September 2009 Conference Registration (Please Register Below)
The Real Estate Standards Organization will hold the next RESO/RETS Conference in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, September 23rd through Friday, Sepember 25th, 2009. The conference will be held at the NAR building, 430 N Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. A block of rooms has been reserved at The Conrad Chicago Hotel located at 521 N Rush Street (1/2 block from the NAR Building). The block of rooms is for the nights of September 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
To make your room reservations, no later than September 8th, 2009, call The Conrad Chicago Hotel at (800) 266-7237 and reference the "NAR RETS Meeting" to get the negotiated rate of $185/night single or double occupancy. You may also make your reservation online by going to Conrad Reservations (use the code "NLR" in the Group/Convention Code: box). This rate is also available from September 17th through September 30th. If the rates quoted to you are higher than $185/night, make the reservation and send an email to MAdams@realtors.org. We will resolve the rate difference for you. The block of rooms is only available until September 8th. After that date, the availability and rate are not guaranteed.
On the first day (September 23rd), The Board will meet in closed session from 10:00 until 11:00. Then Workgroup Chairs & Vice Chairs will meet with the Board at 11:00. Also, on September 23rd, there will be a "RETS Issues, Challenges, & Perceptions" Panel", and a "State of the Standard" discussion. The Schema workgroup will also meet. As usual, the "RETS Exhibition" will begin at 4:15pm.
On the second day (September 24th) there will be a number of informational sessions to help educate the community, and several working sessions. Voting will be held for Change Proposals.
On the third day (September 25th), developers will be able to test for interoperability of their software during the "Plugfest".
RESO will provide breakfast and lunch on the 24th. You will be responsible for transportation to the meeting, hotel room charges and all other meals.
